Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 1-4pm in Parfet Park in Golden, Colorado. Parfet Park is located on the SE corner of Washington Avenue & 10th Street - just around the corner from historic downtown Golden.
Who
The Golden Beverage Tasting & Chili Cook-Off is presented by the Golden Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Coors Distributing Company. We recently changed our name to the Golden 'Beverage' Tasting & Chili Cook-Off to be more inclusive of all of the beverages that we offer at the event. Proceeds benefit the Golden Chamber of Commerce programs and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Tickets
Admission is by ticket only. ADVANCE TICKET SALES ONLY. NO 'DAY OF' TICKET SALES. Admission includes beverage and chili tastings, live entertainment, access to corporate exhibitors and the opportunity to vote on your favorite chili.
NEW THIS YEAR - a "Designated Driver" Ticket - for those who wish to attend the event and enjoy unlimited non-alcoholic beverages.
Beer
In partnership with Coors Distributing Company (CDC), this event will showcase 30+ brands - from spirits, domestic beers, imports, and specialty crafts to non-alcoholic varieties. They've got a beverage for you!
All ticketed guests will receive a souvenir sampling beverage glass to properly see, smell and taste all of the different beverage products.
Chili
Individuals, businesses and restaurants offer up their best chili for tasting and competition! Categories include Red, Green, Veggie and Showmanship. People's Choice Chili and Showmanship voted by attendees. Cash & Award Ribbons to the Winners!
Parking
Parking in and around the downtown Golden area on a Saturday afternoon can be challenging. We HIGHLY recommend FREE parking just a block to the east - at the Clear Creek Parking Lot at 304 - 10th Street. For more information about where to park, visit https://www.parkgoldenco.com/map-n-park
Drink Responsibly
Drink Responsibly. Limit the amount of alcohol you drink and alternate drinking alcohol with water or nonalcoholic beverages.
Eat Food Before the Event. Don’t drink on an empty stomach. A couple of food vendors will be onsite at the event.
Transportation - Plan ahead to get home safely. Designate a driver, take a cab, use Uber or Lyft, bus or stay overnight at a friend’s house or hotel, or simply walk home.
